The family behind a viral video from Game 5 of the World Series explains how it all went down.
During the ninth inning of Sunday’s game, Yasiel Puig hit a two-run home run to left field and a female fan caught it. A moment later, a man standing next to her angrily grabbed the ball and threw it back onto the field.

As it turns out, the baseball grump was the woman’s brother-in-law.

The woman, Sarah Head, said she was mad at her brother-in-law, Kirk Head, because she didn’t get to throw the ball back herself.
Kirk Head explained to MLB.com that he was angry because Puig’s home run cut the Astros’ lead to one.
He said he threw the ball back on the field so it could go “back to where it needs to be.”
Sarah Head said she has forgiven Kirk and added that he is treating her to a spa day after the viral moment.
