Olympians stick together.
Celtics star Kyrie Irving, who helped USA Basketball bring home gold from Rio in 2016, presented fellow gold-medalist Aly Raisman with his game-worn jersey Wednesday night after Irving’s Celtics defeated the Cavaliers at TD Garden.

Raisman, a Massachusetts native and Boston sports fan, naturally was delighted with the gift.

It’s not clear why Irving gave Raisman his jersey.
Raisman, 23, made headlines in November when she told CBS’s “60 Minutes” she was sexually abused by former U.S. Gymnastics doctor Larry Nasser. More than 140 women and girls have accused Nasser of abuse, according to CNN.
In November, Nasser pleaded guilty in a Michigan court to seven counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct. He will be sentenced there later this month. In December, he was sentenced to 60 years in federal prison on child pornography charges. Nasser pleaded guilty to those charges in July.
