Hours before their Monday night game against the Knicks, LeBron James and his Cavaliers teammates faced a decision after their shootaround at Madison Square Garden.
They could take a 45-minute bus ride back to their hotel. Or they could hop on the subway for a quick six-minute trip.
Subway, here we come.
James and his teammates’ appearance on New York City public transit obviously caught fellow subway riders by surprise. As James took video of the experience, the passenger seated next to him flashed an irritated look and quickly put up his hand to block the camera. After the man changed seats, James joked, “Now we’ve got more room.”

It didn’t take long for Metropolitan Transportation Authority officials to find out about the celebrity riders. They were not impressed.
