The Winnipeg Jets dominated the Minnesota Wild on Monday night, stomping the visitors 7-2 at Bell MTS Place.
However, that wasn’t the most interesting thing that happened in Monday’s contest.
Early in the third period, Winnipeg’s Bryan Little scored a solo goal after being left alone up front to put the Jets up 6-2.
Immediately after, though, a brawl ensued on the ice.
It’s understandable that the Wild were frustrated, as they had just come off a three-goal loss to the Blues on Saturday. The 7-2 loss on Monday brought the Wild to 11-10-3 on the season.
The Jets have now won seven of their last nine games with their five-goal win on Monday.
